Service Rates:
- One hour story or script consultancy session - £60 (price incl. of VAT)
This bespoke 1-2-1 support session delivered via Zoom will be used to help you with the most useful aspect to help move your project forward, including story development, discussing specific script issues, pitch practice or practical production advice.
- Script reading and feedback - Price dependent on script length
Industry-standard professional notes given on your script whether it's a feature film, short film, TV episode or play script.
Isabella Bassett has a strong track record in script and story development, and working with a range of writers to bring their scripts to life.
Beginning in new writing theatre, Isabella worked on over 90 new commissions for the lunchtime theatre company, A Play, a Pie and a Pint, giving feedback and working with 35 playwrights per year. Isabella worked for two years in a Development role for BBC Studios where they read and reported on hundreds of spec scripts, and took several writers through a bespoke shadow script training scheme. As a result, Isabella successfully secured first-time commissions for 20 new writers on the BBC continuing drama 'River City'. Isabella has produced four award-winning short films which they have been closely involved in the development of, as well as taking part in several script and story training programmes. Isabella also has experience working with new writers through Witsherface comedy collective where they helped to develop scripts and put on new writing scratch nights and comedy sketch shows.
Isabella is passionate about encouraging new writers and helping people to tell their authentic stories in the most effective and engaging way.
